Acne is back!!

For years I’m having acne problem. I was blessed with oily
skin influence by  testosterone hormone. ( http://www.hormonehelpny.com/column/femaleacne2.htm
) Now I’m quite experience to notice it before it get worsen. Each year I will
have some acne problem coming back again at some period of time.

Oral Medication Recommended: Roaccutane ( when it’s out of
control)

Topical Medication Recommended: Retin A gel to unclog the
pores

Dalacin T solution to kill bacteria

For topical medication I recommend that you use both of it.
Dalacin T solution to kill bacteria and retin A to unclog the pores that cause
acne problem. It would be a good idea to use topical medication in gel form
than cream .Cream form makes your face oily and become dirty easily especially
in a humid country like Malaysia.

Three word to describe it . “I love IT”.
Many of you might want to know what is about. You can refer here for more information http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Canyoneering. I’m quite surprise that we actually had this kind of activities in Malaysia (http://www.mymountaingoal.com/foto_lebuh_fall1.htm ). The first thing that came into my mind was I definitely want to try.

The trip was quite affordable. We pay around RM 60 per person for guide, tent, and food and abseiling equipment.

Gunung Rajah Expedition

Last weekend was a great and exciting weekend, I’ve been looking forward for weeks. It was Gunung Rajah expedition organize by Xiong Ha (our leader) and Gu Wen (second in command in our team to ensure nobody is left behind). Me, Mei Ru, Desmond and Tang went up to Gunung rajah together with 14 other people. Some of them are stranger to us. Along the way to peak we build friendship and learn about each other. Team work is the main things I learn about during this 3 days 2 night trip. Without each other help the trip wouldn't be successful.
The journey begins at 5.00 a.m on 2nd of June 2006. I woke up at this wee hour to get ready to go. The only thing that keeps me awake is my morning cup of coffee. I called a taxi to get me to cheras "pat yeh tin" to meet desmond at 6 a.m.

After the first meeting point with desmond , mei ru and tang , we proceed to batu caves to meet up with our hiking buddy at 6.45 a.m. and had our breakfast at bentong before our exciting adventure at gunung rajah which suppose to be a famous mountain where trekkers got struck by lightning 2 years ago.

First 5 minutes of the journey was a bit scary for inexperience trekkers, the shortcut path that we took was quite steep. The next 2 to 3 hours of the track was a bit boring. Almost every one of us gets contact with leeches. I got two on my leg. Luckily mei ru notice them early. We manage to kill it by pouring salt onto them. Poor leechy.

The trekking took another 3 hours to reach the nice waterfall with nice scenery. We took a rest, have some snacks and give our best pose for photography and video section.

After a sun bathing section we trek again for another hour to reach our camp site. This time I felt a bit demotivated to continue. Maybe is because I had already cool down at the water spot after 5 to 6 hours of trekking.

We set up our camp site, become a kitchen helper, took bath at the water stream and had dinner during sunset. The food was great and thanks to ah Fong for planning and helping us to cook.

At night we slept in the fly ship and notice some cockroaches wondering around our fly ship in the middle of the night when I get up to pee. I had a lot of broken sleep that night but luckily I still feel quite energetic the next day.

The journey continues the next day. We began our day with porridge and coffee. We proceed at 10 am and plan to reach there by 2 p.m. I just can’t wait to experience the toughest trail of gunung rajah.

The sceneries of gunung rajah changes stage by stage. Due to the weather condition we began to see different flora and I enjoy taking photos the most during this part of the journey.

Almost the end of the journey, everyone in the team needs to carry at least 3 litters of water to the camp site at the peak. These mean 3 kg extra to our loads.

According to the source of information, the last part was a reality. We need to climb up a very steep rock using rope, holding on to tree roots and branches. I began to realize how much I love the tree roots and branches at the end. They are my best friend in this expedition. As much as I love this part when going up to the peak, I seriously hate this part when I come down the next day.

Reaching the peak was another satisfying and rewarding experience to each trekker. I reached the peak around 2.30 when it began to rain. I immediately change my clothes and put on the rain coat and help around to set the tent.

Dinner on top of the peak is an experience where money can’t buy. The scenery and the feeling of being on top of the world are unexplainable.

After dinner, came another down pour while we preparing for supper. We spend the night inside a fly ship playing games with tang. (The game we learned during the trip in to KK).

The journey ended the next day; we had our breakfast, group photos and dismantled the tent and came down from gunung rajah. The whole journey of coming down from Gunung Rajah took around 10 hours.

We ended our day with dinner and Desmond drove us home that night.

A pair of love bird

A close friend of mine who partially had the same middle name with me found her prince charming. I always felt his current prince charming, is interested in her way before they became love bird. How? I don’t know why it’s easier for me to guess a guy feeling than gal. Maybe guy gave a clearer signal than gal.“Congratulation, new love bird” I think you guys are a match made from heaven.

Easter Sunday

I told myself this Easter I better arrange someone to go to church with me as I had always felt very lonely to go to church alone. So as planned, I went to SFX PJ with Kenny and his uncle. We met up with Weng to have breakfast after Mass.

Later in the evening I had a belly dance performance in Kelana Jaya Seafood Restaurant with Ling and her students, Yvonne and PN. As usual every performance we end up waiting for our turns to perform. We had to wait until all the karaoke contestant finish singing before we can proceed.
The performance was fun and went on smoothly .I manage to receive some pocket money which is sufficient to cover 3 months of my dance fees.

May Yoke’s wedding on 19 March 2006

Another friend got married today. She stays around my neighborhood and we used to go to school together when we were in secondary school. I went to her house early in the morning to become “chee mui” (bride’s maid). When I reached there , Mei Ru and Yoke YoOng were already there preparing games to play with the bridegroom.
Here are the punishments or reward for the Q & A section
1) Chocolate banana ice cream in the potty
2) Wassabi Chocolate
3) Tong yuen with chilly and bitter guard etc
4) Hornets Drink
Later that night , me and Siew choon meet each other up to go to May Yoke’s wedding dinner in Puchong. Siew Choon really dresses up that night. She wore a white color 1 piece dress with a pair of white high heel shoes. This is the first I saw her wearing high heel shoes. Wow!! Siew Choon you look so feminine.
We reached there quite late because of the jam that cause by flood near Kinrara. As soon as we reached there we hunt for a parking place and proceed to the restaurant. Our place was nicely arranged under the group SMPP (name of my secondary school in KL)
At the end of the wedding we’d photography section. She’s the happiest bride I’ve seen this year. Congratulation and may you live happily ever after with your prince charming.

Ah fOok and rAchEl'€™s weDding

A unique wedding. The entire guesses enjoy themselves to the max. That should be the way; everyone should drink and have fun whether you are the host or the guess to make your wedding dinner more memorable.
Their wedding also seems to look like ApiItians gathering. I met a lot of apIitians. Sited on my table are  Anthony and his girlfriend, Kenny and Carol, Ming Sen, Catherine, Joyce and ….. and …. Ops I forget your name!! Anyone remember who is that gal sitting next to Kenny?
At the end of the wedding dInNer I chat with Tsi Lok and found out that she’s joining line dance too. We both learn from the same teacher but in different places. She learned in wisma genting and I learned in R3 club. At first I wonder how she knows I joined line dance when we began to chat. She began to describe that she saw me in 1 of Lily Chin Line dance party at Hola Jln Conlay. Suddenly every single picture stored in my brain starts to emerge. I remember her as the gal who took part in line dance competition but I just couldn’t recognize  her .She looks like a teenager to me that night.
After the wedding, some question pops up in my mind. Why am I so forgetful? Was it because I’m selective in remembering things? too busy to notice? Or I’m just not observance?
